Nadia Guerrera is the Ontario Liberal Party candidate in York South-Weston for the 2022 provincial election.
In addition to her role as a local teacher, Nadia served 3 terms as representative for the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association and chaired the union’s local political action committee. She did her first teaching assignment 18 years ago and currently heads the Social Science Department at Chaminade College.
Nadia is an innovator. She is the founder and executive director of Orwell Art, an international education initiative that teaches youth globally, about democracy, civic engagement and human rights through the arts. Through this ground breaking work and her passion for educating youth, Nadia was commissioned to write curriculum on genocide and misinformation for the Holomodor National Awareness Tour; this curriculum is used in schools across Canada. She has also served as a community sports coach for 16 years.
Nadia has longstanding roots in the riding and is passionate about supporting small businesses, improving transit and fighting for fairness in every sector across Ontario.
